Hotel Posada Del Mar

The staff was very kind every time we came through the lobby. They had water available which we used to fill our water bottles before venturing out for the day. They also provided beach towels for us to use. Although the pool was closed our first day there, it was really nice to be able to use the other days. The attached restaurant and sports bar was our ”go-to” when watching the World Cup games, offering food and drink specials during the games. The hotel also gives a discount coupon for the restaurant (but it cannot be stacked with the already great specials). The location was perfect! I was just across from our favorite beach and close to many markets and places to eat. We walked most days. The only downside was the beds are not that comfortable, unless you prefer a super firm bed. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

This hotel was the perfect “bang for your buck” experience. The hotel is located right across the street from Playa Central, and on the Main Street, making it an ideal location! Avoid getting a taxi to the hotel from the ferry as it is only a 5 minute walk. The hotel grounds were clean and workers were cleaning it ever morning, noon, and night! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, providing recommendations and things to avoid (like a golf cart rental: many things are within walking distance, making a golf cart rental only needed if you had a large group and want to get around). We absolutely loved this experience and will definitely look for are to coming again.

Loved the location, walking about 5 minutes to playa norte and the pool was nice, liked the two restaurants on property too. The rooms were clean but outdated, but that’s ok. We had everything we needed to stay 4 nights, not luxury just needs and it worked. Clean towels, friendly staff, fridge, tv, cold ac and beautiful view. Stay here and save $
