Location above the town. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pool. Cleanliness of facilities. Size of bedroom and bathroom. Most important: the staff are what make this hotel so good.
We thought we would be near Begur. There were some issues in our bathroom: very slippy in the bath so dangerous when climbing in and out; shower head position could not be moved; the shampoo etc were too high. Issues in our bedroom: bedside lamps had to be unplugged as there was no switch to turn them off (the staff had to give us an extension lead with a switch on); the only way to gain information about the hotel and environs was to use an app. There were shortages at breakfast.

View from the suite. Breakfast. Loved Marcello as he was kind and very helpful throughout the stay!
The suite definitely needs more furnishings outside. ie. A table and 4 chairs and perhaps 2 additional lounge chairs for entertaining two guests.
The staff at breakfast was sparse so tables went uncleaned and some delay keeping the eggs, in particular, available. Overall very good though.

Le restaurant du soir est très cher
