Radisson Blu Hotel Prague

The room was spacious, and the staff were great. It wasn’t too far into the old town - about 15 minutes walking, or you can take the tram 2 blocks away. I appreciated the soaking tub after a long day of walking.

There were not a lot of restaurants nearby, and the property was a bit dated. The carpet and tile in the bathroom, in particular, could use a refresh.

Staff was super helpful! Very direct and efficient. Room was quite nice and the gym was acceptable. The breakfast was much better than expected! Everyone was very lovely. Location was decent - could easily walk into old town or the square.

The phone made this loud, odd beep every hour or so. Didn't bother complaining, but just left the phone off the hook the entire time. Also, shower could be pretty dangerous (getting in and out).

At 4:20 in the morning the electricity shorted in the room. Call to the reception revealed that a technician comes at 8:00. I needed a shower and get ready for work. By 8:00 I was checking out. The receptionist came but couldn’t help with the electrical failure. I had to move room at 5:00 AM. It was very unpleasant and I was tired as I didn’t have a good night sleep. This episode clouded what could’ve been extremely pleasant experience. Also, I was surprised that upon check in nobody at the reception spoke Czech. I don’t mind as I am fluent in English but it was strange.
