The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, ideal for a walk any time of day. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive (shoutout to James, just one of the many who made our stay delightful). Our room was very clean and comfortable and overlooked the beautiful well maintained gardens at the rear of the hotel. The bathroom was very spacious with a large roll top bath and powerful overhead shower. Breakfast was self service for cereals and juice, with table service for a choice of cooked dishes including kippers and full English.
There’s plenty of parking on site.
I would highly recommend The Oakhill if you’re staying in the area it is a little gem. Would definitely go back.
