Amazing stay! Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, the shuttle was very convenient.
Tattoo friendly as the onsens are booked for 45 minute private sessions.
Worth the splurge if you’re travelling on a bit of a budget.

We like the private onsen compartments for family use.
We hope that the hotel can further improve their service by sending emails to customers 2 days before the booking about the hotel shuttle, so that the customers would know how to contact and arrange for shuttle bus to the hotel and where to wait for the shuttle to pick them up when they arrive at the bus stations, carrying heavy baggage.

The stay at Taketoritei Maruyama was amazing. The staff were very attentive, polite, and helpful! The shuttle service especially was super helpful especially w/ aging parents as part of our group and the intense summer heat. The rooms were clean and the spa spaces were also very clean and well maintained. I would recommend Taketoritei Maruyama to anyone heading to Arima Onsen.
