We had a true African bush experience with many wildlife sightings. It was humbling and relaxing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. A wonderful team of people.

Simbavati Hilltop is top notch! From the 9 times per day (yes, that is NINE times) that you are fed, to the staff, game drives, views and rooms! Not only do you have your own plunge pool overlooking the river, but there is also a shared, larger pool. There is also a daybed at the room, outdoor shower, fully stocked complimentary mini bar and very comfortable bed!
We saw hippo and elephant from our room. On game drives, lions feasting on a giraffe, hyena and wild dogs interacting, 2 leopards and more.
We have now stayed at all of the Simbavati lodges in Timbavati and Klasarie and they are all excellent! Highly recommend!
