Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area

Easy check in, I thought it was going to take long since the line was long but went smoothly. Beautiful pool/park & hotel. Walking distance to Disney springs.

Room was clean, love the location 10 minutes wqalking distance to disney spring.

We really enjoyed the property. My only frustration was the checking in. We had a 530 reservation at in Disney Springs and ended up being a late because a room was not ready until 5. I checked in around 330 knowing I may not get one until check in at 4 to try to get in as soon as possible but every time I went to get an update I was told housekeeping is working on it and needed a supervisor approval. I had to get pushy to finally have my room changed to get us in. Very unpleasant check in. The room we had was great but the air is stuck on 61-62. Great for me but not my wife. There is a wet spot around the thermostat that keeps the floor wet in that area. Other than that we enjoyed the property and perks for Disney.

I have stayed at this property 4 times since 2008 (I’m from Australia). I love it! It is not a designated Disney Resort but it is a VERY short walking distance (7-10 mins) to Disney Springs (in fact the closest hotel). There’s also the convenience of a laundry room for long stays, a very large fun pool area, a small store onsite for milk, water and other necessities and a pool bar/cafe. The biggest convenience is that there are free buses (provided by a company called Fabulous; not Disney). You can book your bus via their website to the Disney parks 2-3 days prior with a code that allows you FREE travel and pick up from the parks each hour all day starting at 7am and finishing after the parks each closes. The BIGGEST PERK, is that you are allowed EARLY ENTRY into the parks which is usually only afforded to designated Disney Resort Guests - if you’re unsure of what this is, look it up, it makes a huge difference being able to get on the popular rides 30 mins early, that traditionally have long wait times! I love this hotel. Currently (Sept 2026) they are undergoing renovations which could be noisy at times during the 10 days we stayed here, but I can’t wait to see the improvements as the workman advised of upgraded rooms, and bar/lobby area! Great hotel with a decent price tag for the Orlando (Disney) area with no more than 10-20 mins drive to each park! Great for families and for older “Disney” Couples who just want convenience and value for money!
