This was our first stop in our trip through Japan and this hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful in answering our questions and helping us coordinate transportation. The room was great. Perfect for a family.

Nice large room and nice staff. A little far from everything but close to a JR station.

Was a nice stopping point so we could see Ueno before heading back home. Other Mimaru’s felt a little more convenient and maintained, but staff was awesome and friendly and overall enjoyed stay.

Wonderful Stay for a Family of Five!
We absolutely loved our stay at MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North! We have now stayed there twice, and both experiences were wonderful. The apartment-style room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family. We had four regular beds plus two bunk-style beds, so there was sleeping space for everyone. The room also had a real dining area with a table, which made it feel more like a home than a hotel room. Having a kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and dishes was a big plus for breakfast, snacks, and drinks. We also had a beautiful view of the trains, but the room was surprisingly quiet.
The location was very convenient, with the subway/train station just a short walk away and lots of shopping, restaurants, and dining options nearby. The laundry facilities were another big plus, especially during a longer trip. The staff were wonderful—very friendly, helpful, and especially accommodating with our luggage and transportation questions. After staying here twice, we can honestly say we would definitely come back again. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and a perfect choice for families visiting Tokyo!
