Great location and apartment! Unfortunately, it is in need of some maintenance. Specifically light bulbs, washer and deep cleaning.We arrived on a Monday and hoped to do our laundry from the last week, the reason we chose this apartment was the fact that it had a washer and dryer. Immediately we noticed that the washer was not working. A call to the property manager was not answered, got a email on Tuesday that a maintenance person would be there on Wednesday morning. Andrea was very nice and said that the washer had supposedly been repaired recently, but obviously no one checked to see that it was done properly. She hoped someone would be there by the next day to address the issue. No one could come until the day we were leaving. Therefore, an excursion to the local laundromat was added to our itinerary. Even the light bulbs couldn’t be replaced.She mentioned that they manage 30 units, and because of the busy summer season, were not able to address maintenance issues between guests.On a separate issue the unit only had one and a half rolls of toilet paper. When we call for more, we were first asked how many were in our party! Then rather curtly told that anything beyond what was initially provided, would be on us! We have rented apartments all over the world and never had to buy toilet paper! In addition, there was a significant amount of mold in the shower. These issues are very unfortunate in such a lovely apartment, and certainly at this price point.
