Cilbrwyn Countryside Retreat

The B&B was located in a lovely and unusual setting at the end of a cul de sac. The views were great. Our hosts were very welcoming and informal. Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden. Its worth noting that the garden amd facilities were available for guests. Our visit coincided with a 30C heatwave but our room on the first floor, although without air conditioning, remained at a pleasant temperature. Parking for 3 cars was fine but manoeuvrability was a bit tight. Accommodation probably not advised for those with mobility issues. Notwithstanding the above, would strongly recommend for the vast majority of guests.

Enjoyed my stay here. Excellent service from the hosts. Very clean room with everything I needed at a good price. Highly recommended

We had an amazing stay with Bob and Olah. So friendly and helpful, from start to finish. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, even to our five year old daughter 😊 Bob has a fantastic waterfall map that he designed himself and is happy to point you in the right direction. Olah’s breakfast was delicious and worth every penny (we would have happily paid more for it). They are so generous and thoughtful. We will definitely be returning, we’ve already spoken about coming back next year.

Friendly host and very helpful . We would recommend this stay to family and friends.
