Excellent hotel, well located, friendly staff, lots of hot water. Breakfast, small but adequate. Rooms vary in quality. I stay here regularly when in Salvador. Good value.

Hotel Citlatlli is a charming, intimate hotel with a cozy atmosphere and a great location. It’s conveniently situated near several restaurants, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy local dining options.
Breakfast is included, which is a nice perk, their dining area is very friendly.
However, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. The walls are extremely thin, and noise travels easily between rooms and common areas. We experienced quite a bit of noise early in the morning as other guests were checking out, making it difficult to sleep in or enjoy a peaceful morning.
Parking is also limited, which is something to consider if you’re traveling with a vehicle.
Overall, Hotel Citlatlli is a lovely option for travelers looking for a smaller, more intimate hotel in a convenient location. With better soundproofing and additional parking, the experience would be even better. Despite these inconveniences, we appreciated the hotel’s charm and accessibility.
