10 / 10Remarquable·juill. 2026
The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer.
Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.

Lovely place to stay very easy to walk to Cheddars Gorge from the hotel. Room was clean and bed comfortable, loved the small jars of nuts, Sweets in the room. Would recommend you tell them when booking if you have a nut allergy and not have the nuts in your room.
The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Breakfast was delicious and a good choice, we also ate our evening meals in the hotel and it was delicious, also liked that they did a couple of dinners as smaller portions.
Wi-Fi worked very well.
