Castle Inn

Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it hadnt been passed to the chef but now he knew everyone else would get 2 eggs! I would have expected to have a small reduction in price or something complimentary (soft drink or coffee) as an apology but nothing was offered. Also they added on a service charge on both nights which i wasnt impressed with. It should be up to the diner to decide if service is worth a tip.

Great place and delicious food

No complaints whatsoever, all "ship shape"! Car park is across the road, with no security camera presently but a super safe area! 10/10 ( Hattie was exceptional )

Gorgeous room in lovely property, great food and fabulous location. Staff couldn’t do enough for us highly recommend it.
