Very friendly staff and great location

We have stayed at Hotel Byron several times before, but always in transit to/from the Islands. This time we afforded ourselves an early arrival/late checkout, so we were able to make use of their roof terrace. It's delightful, with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and Mt Lycabettus and the surrounding area. We had an apperatif in the evening and breakfast in the morning, but it was surpirisigly quiet, accompanied only by chattering sparrows and collared doves. Bliss!
The bathroom was quite small, and we were worried we might break the glass partitions.

The property was located within walking distance to the main streets and attractions. It had a rooftop bar/restaurant overlooking Acropolis which was great. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean.
We had a triple room for our family of four but did not have enough room to open our suitcases. It was exceptionally small and the bathroom was tiny. The shower leaked making the whole bathroom flood.

Brakfast was simple for the 10 euros per person but it had a nice balcani with a view.
The origimal room that they try to give has was very bad, small, bed small against the wall make it impossible to get out with out climbing over the other person. We had to complain and they give us onether big and better room , the staff were nice and helped.
