The staff were so kind and helpful. The Reception showed us where the laundry was outside on our first morning. The barman was always looking out for the guests and the waiters and other staff were so nice. Such a friendly hotel. The food in the restaurant Pero was outstanding. Location was great. Shower was hot and super fast. the pool was in a lovely setting and breakfast was well laid out and plenty of choice.
There was no waste paper bin in the room - only the one in the toilet. My husband found the the outside noisy at night but this is Brazil and the week-end happened to be a public holiday so everyone was out to party. his bed was a bit narrow and he fell out of it one night! But I slept well every night! But we loved the hotel and the staff. All great otherwise.

Pousada do Príncipe was great because it is nice hotel that is clean, beautiful, attended to small details and catering to guests' needs. But was makes it special is the extremely warm feeling we felt while staying there, people's smiles and the genial hospitality we enjoyed. Overall, a wonderful vibe that makes you happy and wanting to come back.
Room size was ok, but would be more comfortable if it were a little bigger.

L’authenticité de l’endroit. Il n’a pas beaucoup bougé depuis sa création…
Le restaurant est vraiment très bien. On y trouve des plats très originaux.
Le petit dej est très bien également.
C’est le désavantage de son charme, il y a des choses qui n’ont pas beaucoup évolué depuis sa création…

Good location, nice venue with charming swimming pool area and restaurant. Friendly staff. Close to Paraty downtown and many restaurants and shops.
Bedroom is a bit spartan for a hotel that charges so much and looks so nice on the outside. Old and noisy air conditioning system; shower with curtains that can’t prevent bathroom area from getting all wet.
