Hotel Klarer

Pleasant hotel in the center of Zuoz, right next to the plaza. It's a historical hotel, so it's not modern. But it has charm. We also had a decently sized balcony with a nice view to the town. The room was also a very good size. Very nice breakfast and good coffee (decently strong which is not typical in hotels). The bakery and cafe also offer a large variety of options. I can definitely recommend the apple strudel. The staff were very friendly. The church bells did not bother at all. They only rung on the hour and not in the night, although we live in Switzerland and may be used to it, so we do not notice.

- squeaky floorboards, but not bad at all - we were not disturbed by any noise in any other rooms, but some may be extra sensitive - bathroom is clean, but not renovated (older), so it's not the most pleasant, the ventilation grate over the tub is not so nice, but okay - 7:30 breakfast is a bit late for those who are in the area for business

Central location in Zuoz plaza, excellent bakery /restaurant attached. Staff was outstanding, extremely helpful that went above and beyond to store our luggage and help with us with laundry service which is not a normal service. We came off a hut to hut hike and they quickly accommodated us to get us checked into room early so that we could clean up and relax. Room was spacious, nice windows opened into courtyard and while has a shared toilet /shower we didn't have any issues with access and there was a nice sink in the room with a very comfortable sitting area both in the room and outside the room. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about our stay but it is worth mentioning that the church bells will continue during the night-time. The good news is that the window seal quite well to block noise while sleeping however if you prefer more silence as I do, my ear plugs work very well.

L'emplacement on ne peut plus central. Le charme ancien de l'hôtel, la taille de la chambre ( très grande)

Les rideaux de la chambre ne sont pas occultants et peu adaptés à la taille des fenêtre. On s'est donc réveillé aux premiers rayons de soleil

Bâtiment typique des Grisons.

Salle-de-bain borgne, très petite et mal chauffée. La chambre donne l'impression d'avoir été créée dans un grenier, sans charme. 2 armoires mises là pour mettre une touche typique, mais ça ne le fait pas. La chambre Booking typique mais à un prix surfait. Beaucoup trop chère car pas de bouilloires, pas eau offerte, pas de frigo, pas de coffre fort. Petit déjeuner compris, on en attendait plus en logeant dans un restaurant-boulangerie. Grande grimpée depuis la gare pour y arriver.
