Kobe Motomachi Tokyu REI Hotel

Great location close to transport and restaurants. The hotel offers free drinks to guests between 1500 and 2200 - good choice of sakes!

Bathroom is small but was serviceable.

The hotel staff were friendly and efficient despite it being quite busy on both check-in and check-out. The room was completely fine to stay for three nights. There was enough space to fully open my suitcase while also still being able to sit on the floor if I wanted to do so. The bathroom had a good amount of space while there is also a chair suitable for the shower for anyone who requires the need to sit. The shower itself was excellent with its trio of nozzles and perfect pressure. The hotel is only 3-4 minutes walk from Motomachi Station and maybe 10 minutes from Sannomiya Station, so it’s easy to get around. Nankin-machi (Chinatown) is directly next to the hotel if you want some great food.

The only part I wasn’t too keen on was the bedding. Only one pillow was provided and it was quite a hard pillow, which I found difficult to sleep on. This is quite custom for both Japanese and Korean hotels though.

Like all hotels or most, no English speaking channels on the TV. Late check in of 3pm
