Comfy rooms, superb staff, great selection of food in the bar, good drinks and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I can't stress enough how great the people working there are. 100% dedicated to your needs and they all have an excellent sense of humor, proper northern english banter. I will absolutely come back !
The only slight downside is the outside traffic noise in the morning but it's hardly a minus.

The hotel location was great in relation to the city centre.
The down side was it being on top of a pub...which i knew when I booked it..but didn't realise the world cup was on and England was playing...the noise outside the hotel was horrendous as we had to sleep with the windows open due to the very hot spell of weather.
The breakfast at the hotel was decent and the staff were very accommodating.
No air con and being on the 2nd floor was a killer.
Noise outside, no air con so had to sleep with windows open...under normal weather conditions and windows closed then it could have been fine.
