We greatly enjoyed staying here. Everything was excellent: the room, the food, the staff, the onsen. Staff were particularly helpful, providing information about visiting potters and taking care of sending our luggage. Hagi was a lovely city with much to see and do. And the sakura were in full bloom everywhere!

Everything. A truly gorgeous hotel with wonderful staff and first-rate cuisine.

Beautifully curated breakfast and dinner menu. It is worth it to get the meal package. Genuinely traditional in every way from tge service to the elegant menu.

A most Japanese experience from the room, which was clean and comfortable to the breakfast and dinners that are provided, which are very local. Lots of seafood that was very well prepared. You do have to be ready for a completely different experience for example, puffer fish, baby sardines, along with temper and Wagyu beef dishes. The food is prepared for you and you don’t get to choose what you get. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. it helps to have Google translate we explored the town on E bikes that the hotel has for rent at a very reasonable price. I think a two day day would be great.
