Urbain Tokyo Ueno Kitasenju

This is a great hotel in a nice spot behind Kitasenju Marui. I snagged a room last minute and ended up with two beds. The beds are pretty hard (which I'm generally okay with), but one was much harder than the other so I'm glad I had the option to switch it up. The room was nice and clean with regular housekeeping. USB charging outlets are everywhere and I like having a luggage rack to use. There's a retractable clothesline available in the shower. Complementary drink bar was a nice amenity on the main floor. My Japanese is passable enough that I understood the checkin conversation, but they provided me with an English info sheet too which I really appreciated! The room had two things I needed for my fussy allergies: the ability to open the window a little for fresh air and in-suite adjustable AC. Very happy to have both. It rained every day except one for me so I don't have much on the walkable area, but the Tokyo Metro is extremely close and accessible when the Marui mall shortcut is open (10am to 8 or 9pm). Staff were amazing and gave me a helping hand late in the evening when there was an issue with the washing machine. I enjoyed staying here and I hope to stay again on my next trip :)

That one hard bed (the one by the window) could use a new mattress. It felt like it was curving out into me and had no give at all. The other one is fine.

Hôtel proche des commodités (ligne JR et métro) ainsi qu'un centre commercial, très pratique. Par contre, soyez prêts à avoir la rush hour tous les matins pour visiter Tokyo. L'hôtel est très bien, les chambres sont agréables et confortables.

C'est un peu excentré de Tokyo, ça ne nous a pas dérangé, mais c'est à prendre en compte.
