Réserve naturelle Vaughn's Island Preserve n'est qu'à 8 minutes de marche, vous pouvez donc garer votre voiture dans le parking dont dispose l'hébergement ou sauter dans votre véhicule pour le trajet de 5 minutes jusqu'à Dock Square.

Cette maison de vacances de 279 m² constitue le lieu de séjour idéal pour vous détendre avec un jardin et une terrasse privée où savourer un délicieux cocktail, mais aussi un brasero et un barbecue. Une fois rentré de vos explorations, profitez des joies de l'intérieur : Wi-Fi gratuit et télévision.

When you open the front door you feel right at home. The property layout gives you space and connection and everything you need is there. We cooked our favorite holiday meals in the well appointed kitchen. The landscape and the natural setting of deer and ducks, beautiful sunrises at such a peaceful time of year was a gift. A special place to slow down and enjoy the gift of time.

The first clue that this place is special is that your GPS or mapping App has a hard time finding it. Once you do, the house is lovely. Two bedrooms upstairs (one King bed, the other two Queens) are out of the way and have beautiful morning sunrise views. The Queen bedroom has a large bathroom, the King bedroom has a smaller bathroom with pedestal sink. The first floor bedroom with the ensuite is arguably the best room on the house - it's beyond the living room and also has beautiful sunrise views. It also has a King bed. The bedroom with the sofa is tucked away off the kitchen, up stairs. It has a memory-foam mattress. It does not have a dedicated bathroom - you'll need to use the bathroom off the kitchen, which has a large stand-up shower. The bedroom with the bunk beds has no window - we didn't use it. There is one working fireplace on the first floor, and two outside fire pits. The kitchen is spacious with gas cooking. There are no fewer than three coffee makers too. We had 7 adults stay for just under a week and it wasn't difficult to have your own privacy if you wanted it. It's a 6 minute drive to town, about a 40 minute walk. We stayed during Christmas Prelude, so too cold to walk. There are Ubers available in the area - easier to take one home from down town than have them pick you up. There is an EV-charger available if you drive an electric car. Overall a beautiful, charming home with very nice owners!

Thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay! Beautiful house which met all of our family’s needs. The water views are wonderful and the owners are so responsive.
