Very quiet location, pleasant surroundings

The property was clean with parking on site. The internet was secure and the owner was friendly and accommodating. WiFi was secure and very good and there were shops close by.
The property is a basement apartment and was cold, there is a fire but it was not very effective. There was not a lot of workspace to prepare food and the kettle had to be used in the bathroom otherwise the electrics would blow. Information on the cooker, kettle situation etc. would have been useful.

Everything was good
I saw on the past reviews that there was a stain on the couch that the owner was aware and it was going to be removed. Honestly is not something that bothers me, but the stain was still there when I stayed, it shows the commitment of the maintenance for the property.

The close proximity to the airport. Comfortable bed.
A lot of noise from upstairs constantly. A large dog running around chasing a ball. Loud voices. 3am and dog is barking when we use toilet. I know we are staying in the basement of a family home , but the family seemed to forget that paying guests were trying to rest after a long journey. Also, 1st thing we noticed was a badly stained sofa. It looked like ink, this should have been removed or have a cover placed over it.
