Hotel Shuktara Dhaka

Breakfast was excellent, Bangladeshi flavor was present in every meal. Staff were always helpful. None was expecting tips. All necessary shops were nearby including tram station. I requested for top floor during my stay and they managed it. They were always responsive whenever I needed.

Everything was excellent and I need to say it was value for money. But small refrigerator was not working properly as much I was expecting though it was working. Trash bin can a better looking one.

As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a lovely cool drink, the staff was amazing, the food was exceptional I ate every day there, it was fresh and always hot the cleaning staff was polite and very professional, I would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants an amazing stay. If it was me I would give it a 5 ⭐ rating out of 5, I will be going back again very soon.

Nothing that I did not like

Staff was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. As a foreigner and a first-time visitor to Dhaka, I really appreciated I could turn to them anytime and they always helped me. Complimentary breakfast was also really good; there was always plenty of options to choose from, even for s vegetarian such as myself. The location is also great. There is a subway station just across the street which takes you to many places in Dhaka, and there were always a lot of rickshaws or CNGs to take if you needed to go somewhere more specific. Moreover, the facilities were clean and the housekeeping staff always did a great job and made sure I have everything. I also appreciated the staff was wiling to speak English with me; as a non-Bangla speaker it was a huge help.

Nothing I can think of. The rooms on the road side are maybe a bit noisy because of the traffic but that doesn’t have to do much with the hotel itself.
