Although I didn't get to stay too long, or properly use the facilities, I did find the staff welcoming, and the cats were definitely a highlight, even though I didn't get to see many!

Easy access with the keypads, met some of the lovely kitties, great location, close to Bispham shops and tram stop. Great for seeing the Illuminations. For the price it is good value. Games room looked fun but did not get a chance to use.

Bed was a little springy and everything feels just a bit tired. With a bit of tweaking could be really good. Was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffees or way of using it. The guest wifi was not working. These are all small issues, and as we were only staying one night, and barely there, did not affect us much, but if you had a longer stay they could be a problem. Feels like you are encroaching on someones private dwelling, and not sure what rooms were what. This was probably my fault, as there was information sent, and I did skim through it but did not read it all properly.

The cats were amazing, super friendly and cuddly. The room was comfortable and very large with a TV and Netflix. WiFi worked. Only a few minutes away from the tram stop.

The room itself was clean, but the rest of the property was quite dirty - bathroom and kitchen floors obviously hadn't been mopped in a while, windowsills were dirty (cat hair is to be expected but the kitchen windowsill was sticky and obviously hadn't been wiped in a long time). Children's toys were all over the floor in the kitchen and hallway (including a toy right at the bottom of the stairs which wasn't moved during the entire time we were there and was a tripping hazard). Lots of the owner's (?) personal items were on the stairs outside our bedroom, including (unused) nappies, toilet roll, hair dye, shoes, clothes, food & drink items. These things were there when we arrived at the property at midday and we assumed that because we had arrived early, we'd interrupted cleaning/tidying - unfortunately by the time we checked out the next day, everything was still there. Dry cat food was all over the kitchen floor. Owners sent a few automated messages through the app but were unresponsive when we tried to contact them to discuss when we were arriving and whether we would be able to leave our belongings somewhere before check-in. Very much felt like we were intruding in someone's private space. One of the cats was pregnant - as a cat lover, it was sad to see an unspayed female cat allowed to go outside and made me question how much these cats are taken care of (also the dry cat food was not changed during the 24h that we were there, we didn't see any wet food). No towels provided. Lastly, after checkout we received an automated message saying that if we shared our experience on social media or left a review on two platforms, we would be entitled to a free future stay. This felt like an attempt at bribery (a free night in exchange for social media promotion or positive reviews) and while everyone loves a freebie, this feels unethical as it no doubt contributes to the positive reviews.
