Pet friendly, they let us brought our well behaved dog with us since we came to visit and hike at New River Gorge NP. We had to wait until the next day to get the wi-fi to work. Coffee was provided which was nice. The house is somewhat updated, nice decor and new laminate floor in the living room. Kitchen is old and needs to be updated (which was fine), but we had to wash the kitchen utensils first before we used them and the stove top was all cracked so we had to be careful to use it. Bathrooms were okay, could be cleaner and towels could be placed better. All rooms has very strong odor/smell from the plug-ins, wondering why. Stayed for 3 nights, it was okay.

Short three day stay as our family explored the New River Gorge area. Great communication. Quiet neighborhood. Nice updates to the home.

We stayed for one night. It is good property.

I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep.We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. I did contact the owner and they said the cleaning person had just left. We found the back door also unlocked but no one was in it when he went in. The home did not feel or smell as though it had just had a cleaning done. We then noticed the stove top was not useable because it was completely cracked and had exposed inner workings. I notified the owner about that as well as issues with the wifi . She addressed the wifi but said the previous home renters said the stove worked fine.i addressed my concern about using the stove for the safety of the home (not to mention my family). The wifi situation was handled immediately, the stove, however was not. She said they'd schedule a replacement and keep me posted. I've still not heard anything about the stove getting fixed.While there, we also had issues with some wall sockets not working. The home was sparse on the ammenities. Id also say if you bring children be sure to bring things for them because there was one kids book.
