I liked the old chiquita house and it had a beautiful porch. Gia was awesome, the place was very big, the bed was comfortable and it had a full size fridge.

The noises, dogs, traffic and roosters. No coffee pot.

Readily available, right then with immediate response from host. We ran into complications with our border crossing and found ourselves finally in Panama with no place to stay. Ferry to Boca was gone. We were exhausted from the frustrating day and disappointed to miss our 2 nights in Boca delToro. We needed rest. Gia to the rescue. It felt almost foolish to just pick any place near by and book. No time to read reviews etc… we were in a bind. The price was GREAT! Owners responded immediately and guided us in. Fan was powerfully. Shower was nice and warm. Nice fridge to let us empty our ice chest and start over. Stove worked to make a cup of soup for dinner and a cup of tea for the start of a new day! We were safe. We were welcomed. We were rested! Now on to the rest of our trip.

The property is just what you see in the photos. It is an older home in a busy neighborhood. It is not a resort property, so don’t expect one. There was nothing NOT to like! And our host could not have been kinder or more welcoming. I think she was even worried about us. We must have really looked beat when we arrived. She shut the gate. Even helped us carry a few things up the stairs and then left us to rest in her clean upstairs unit.
