Hotel Lingzi - at the Mall Road & newly renovated

The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, cozy and beautiful, the hotel location is just across the main market where all the shops and restaurants are. Also, they have a rooftop with stunning views of the palace. The hot showers are a blast during the cold days!

Personnel très serviable. Hôtel très bien situé. En plein centre. Belle terrasse sur le toit avec vue magnifique. On peut y manger. Bon petit déjeuner.

Sanitaires un peu rustiques mais propres.

Not the cheapest  place to stay, but a very nice comfortable place with very good buffet breakfast. I am here already for the forth time. Often sold out, so book well ahead. A big comfortable roof terrasse, with close view of Leh palace.

Some rooms on groundfloor have just a view to a concrete wall, some kingsize beds have  an annoying gap between  the matrasses. All not rearly severe.

Good things about the hotel. Situated Bang at the centre of the market. Though I did not like it but for many people it would be an added attraction. The room number 301 which is a suite has good view of the mountains.

Coming to the cons 1. The rooms starting with 1 (101,102---)are simply hell hole. 2. So called second floor is bang on the top of the street absorbing carbon monoxide fumes from the road. The one on the back and on the side have pathetic views. 3. Only the rooms on the third floor are worth living. 4. Leh is the windy city and most of the hotel have balconies This does not have any. 5. This is a very old property with no lift and no parking space. They actually don't expect guest come with cars. 6. I think there are many other choices in the city today. The ratings are somehow misguiding.
