Well equipped small house for visitors with pets.Clean and thoughtful presentation for same.

No apparent communication between Booking.com owner. From renter’s side, Booking.com communication was so vague and opaque that I cancelled confirmation, verified that this was a legitimate company, and then rebooked. From owner’s side, who was in the house cleaning when I arrived for my requested early check in, she was aggressive and angry when we arrived for early check in despite my presentation of early arrival confirmation with Booking.com. She accepted no responsibility for Booking.coms actions and addressed me in the classic “The customer is always wrong” manner (couched in typical gender, age, and racial tomes). I suggested to her she needs to accept her on line face and accept their communications to customers (I was given the door code for the house from Booking.com for the time I had asked for) So what happened? My family and dogs went on a two hour tour we did not need or want. Driving back to the rental, I recieved two texts from the owner that the site was ready and that the “confusion” about arrival was regrettable. In summary, the facility is exactly as advertised, very good. But for the booking company and the owner’s initial mercurial reaction, this would have been an excellent experience. Book it, but not with Booking.com

We had a wonderful stay. The fully fenced front and back yards were perfect for our dogs, and they loved having the space to run around and chase each other safely. The house itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would happily stay here again.

The property was beautiful, well designed inside, and well equipped. The house was a good size and the backyard was inviting. I like that there was a washer and drier. Upon first sight we were pleased. I actually liked the place but it needs some work in order to cost $500 per night.

The tub on the first floor had a large rust stain in it. We hesitated to use it. The drain was also very slow. The towel bar in the second bathroom was falling off the wall. This was indicative of other finishings in the house which could also use a deep cleaning. The sheets on my bed didn’t look like they had been changed, just tidied. I found hair and particles on the sheets. I stripped the bed and washed them myself.
