Fufu Hakone

Fufu Hakone was absolutely amazing! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. Every detail made our stay feel special. It was one of the most relaxing experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

I’m going to be critical because of how much money we spent. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and accommodating however the reception area the seats were dirty. Our room wasn’t ready till 3pm which was fine but we couldn’t get any food and we couldn’t even get a drink. The room service snacks opened at 5pm but took 45 minutes for some fruit and nuts to arrive. The dinner experience was wonderful because it’s not something I think I’ll do again and we got to try so many traditional foods however we were sat by the trollies where they clear away the plates. We had just got engaged an hour before and was hoping for a special dinner but felt like we were put in the corner a little. Breakfast was an experience and was beautifully done also, they even dropped us at the cable car at the end of our stay.

Everything, this is by far one of if not the best spa hotels I’ve stayed at. The room was incredibly comfortable the onsen in the room is amazing.” Prope luxury, staff and service second to none but honestly the food stole the show, I was blown away by the depth and breadth of the menu, the taste the variety and how much they give you. Peaceful, comfortable, the room wear was amazing, I can’t wait to come back here, if you can’t already tell I loved this place. Staff even printed and framed pics of my and my wife for my honeymoon, such a nice touch.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Location, decor, quality

No lunch options or even snacks. A guide to what’s open at each day would be helpful in town…
