I don't often give a 10 score, but I really liked this place; from being able to enjoy my morning coffee overlooking Lake Victoria, to the bar / restaurant serving tasty meals at a decent price. David the owner and the staff were helpful and friendly and great hosts, I will definitely be back next time I'm in Uganda.
Not the property's fault but despite what is written on Booking.com I think the David (owner) would prefer to be paid via online app or in local currency rather than USD$ due to the banks in Jinja only accepting pristine $100 or $50 bills for exchange. Might be worth dropping David a message after you book to confirm the preferred payment method.

The whole experience in Jinja was great and the hotel was the best part. The Hemingway Suite surpassed expectation and the views from the comfort of the balcony were outstanding! The food and service was first class. I felt very welcome. Highly recommend the hotel if you are staying in Jinja.....don't hesitate! Thank you to David and all the staff!

La vista de la habitación muy buena, la comida bien, cervezas frías!! El personal muy amable, la habitación está mejor en las fotos
Teníamos una cama grande con mosquitera, menos mal que la cama pequeña no la necesitamos ya que estaba llena de hormigas.
