Such a cool place to stay! They aren’t kidding when they say it’s cliffside. The views were beautiful, and there were lots of places to relax, especially the cozy sunroom. The walk down to the water was fun, and we loved watching the wildlife- deer literally would come right up to the windows, and we even saw foxes on the hillside.For an older house in the middle of the woods it was surprisingly clean and overall it very well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again if I wanted a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.

My family and I stayed for a week and loved this place. The view is gorgeous and everything was clean and inviting.

Starting with the environment and area, the place looked amazing from the outside. With a forest scenery from the back, it's the perfect view to have breakfast outside. Many rooms are available for people to sleep in, surprising as it looked bigger than anticipated. A river located in the back for a calming time of fishing and a quiet enjoyment outside, as well as having a campfire for utilization to roast marshmellow or just to simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Overall, the place was very enjoyable. Being near nature contributed to the overall experience and relaxing time at the house. Maria V.

Beds: There are only 3 bedrooms (not 4). 1 of the bedrooms is in the basement which is really stuffy, and the room is cold. My brother slept there the first night, but couldn’t sleep there the second night because of his allergies. So, in reality there are only 2 bedrooms that people can comfortably sleep in.Heat/AC: At first, the house heating system was on so high that it felt like 90 degrees. I called the customer service, and the woman on the phone didn’t know how to work the heating/cooling system. It took me around 2 hours to figure everything out, and it took around 3 hours for the house to feel like it was at a tolerable temperature. Water: The water from the fridge was dirty. It seems like they never cleaned the filter, and there was black sediment in the water. Because of this, we couldn’t drink water all night and had to wait until the next day to buy water at a store.Skillets: A lot of the skillets are unusable and should be thrown out. Pros: the house overall is nice and the views are amazing. The campfire is also fully set up to be used by guests. The house is also pretty clean. Overall: I think the property is nice but overpriced for what they are providing. They really should have basic things like water available to guests, and they shoul ensure that the house is at a reasonable temperature. If you do rent this house, make sure to come early to adjust the temperature settings in the house, bring your own water, and bring your own cooking skillets.
