Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, ich habe mich gleich willkommen gefühlt. Ria ist ein interessanter alter Ort, wo man schöne kleine Spaziergänge machen kann. Von dort aus kann man auch Wandertouren in Richtung des Bergmassivs "Le Canigou" machen (2785 m!).
Die Wohnung ist wirklich groß, man hat als Alleinreisender aber auch zu zweit gut Platz, um sich auszubreiten. Besonders ist auch die große Terrasse, auf der man gut essen kann oder sich einfach in einen der zur Verfügung gestellten Liegestühle legen kann :)
Da die Vermieter gleich im Haus über dem Apartment wohnen, sind sie gleich zur Stelle, wenn z.B. etwas nicht klappt.
Alles in allem ein guter Platz, um einige Tage zu verbringen.
Es gibt in Ria keinen richtigen Lebensmittelladen, der nächste ist 3 Kilometer entfernt in Prades.

The apartment is set back a good distance from the road, far enough that you couldn't hear any traffic. There were a couple of welcome gifts waiting for us from Jonathan which was a nice touch. The apartment has practically everything you could need including things often not included like a washing machine, coffee machines (two of) and a vacuum cleaner. Previous guests had left many non perishable items including cleaning products and food which came in very handy. The highlight for me was the bed. I have a slight lower back problem and the bed in the apartment was better than the one I have at home, All in all, there really isn't much that could be improved.
It wasn't a problem for us but the property isn't suitable for anyone in a wheelchair as there are a number of steps up to the property. We went in early June and the apartment was nice and cool but with the incredible temperatures we are seeing now in July, an addition of an air-con might not be a bad idea. The reason I've given it a 9 instead of 10 is that there is virtually nothing in the surrounding area. If that's what you are looking for, great! But it's worth pointing out you will need to drive everywhere but that's not the fault of Jonathan or his property. PS there's a car park directly opposite but when that's full, there's another larger one a short walk further up the road so no trouble parking.

L'appartement est agréable et tres bien equipé, on ne manque de rien et même si on a besoin de quelque chose les propriétaires très gentil habitent juste à coté. Très proche des lieux touristiques, commerces à 2 km. Nous reviendrons tres certainement ! Très bonne literie ce qui est rare dans des logements de vacances et ça c'est formidable !
