Everything about our weekend stay was fantastic. The facilities were excellent, and all of the services provided were first class. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond, everyone we encountered was incredibly professional, welcoming, and always eager to assist. To top it all off, the food was absolutely amazing
There was no mini fridge or minibar in the room. However, the hotel thoughtfully provided fresh milk in a flask instead, so it wasn't a real issue or a major complaint for us.

Excellent choices for breakfast, and variations happily accepted. Service was very good. Location was fine, only slightly limited by the road works in the village. The receptionist was particularly helpful. Callum was very helpful sorting out a problem with the TV control.
No roadworks! Could have wished for a handgrip above the bath.

The breakfast was very nice.
Tbh it’s fine. For £100 a night I’d be perfectly happy. The pub/hotel similar in many ways to The Fox in Bury St Edmunds where we stayed the night before. However that location provided us with such delights as air conditioning in the room, state of the art furnishings, a fridge in the room and parking directly in front of our room. On a Friday evening we paid £140 for that room, which was absolutely fine.
In this Saturday evening we paid 25% more to stay at the Crown which was, in all honesty 25% inferior.
