JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur

The location.

The view, my bedroom was upgraded from deluxe king to bigger room but the window view is internal starhill mall which people can see inside the room. So obviously i cant open the window curtain, hence as good as no view i e. No window for 2 nights.. The receptionist told me the view is mall view which i thought pavilion or any other nearby mall. Felt suffocated. Breakfast was so-so and 90% menu are similar for both sat and sun. For this price and plus little bit more, can get much better at grand hyatt kl. Secondly, the booking.com shows price for 2 nights including taxes of rm1300++ but when check in, it was 1500++.

Unclear instructions regarding getting WIFI and using in-house telephone to communicate with concierge; Long waiting time (35-40 minutes) to get registered on arrival; and Taking 4 hours to have housekeeping tasks completed upon request.

Excellent service throughout our stay, especially from Rash, who was incredibly warm and helpful. The rooms were excellent, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The entire hotel staff were warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. Being from South Africa, I have stayed at many hotels around the world and everyone said the JW Marriott KL had the best breakfast they had experienced and I couldn’t agree more. The location is also fantastic, directly opposite Pavilion Mall and right in the heart of Bukit Bintang. The hotel also has excellent facilities, including a well-equipped gym, pool, spa and a co-working space, which I thought was a great touch.

There was honestly very little to dislike about the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. I highly recommend anyone wanting to visit KL to choose this hotel!

The property was located right on the bustling street of bukit bintang, so it was very convenient to go anywhere

The front office did not mention that there was a complimentary 100 rm credit for room service , some of the staff told me over the phone whereas others had no clue and one even charged me for a room service bill below RM 100 which was eventually refunded
