Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, sie ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, hell, aber trotzdem so, dass die Sommerhitze nicht total reinbrennt. Die Aussicht auf Schönberg bzw. Vogesen ist großartig. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es ein gemütliches Ecksofa mit großem Couchtisch und TV mit großem TV-Regal, einen großen Esstisch und in der Wohnküche einen großen Kühlschrank mit großem Gefrierfach, außerdem eine große Spülmaschine. Die Waschmaschine steht im Keller und darf benutzt werden. Im Bad gibt es sowohl eine Duschkabine als auch eine Badewanne. Mega fand ich, dass es so viel Stauraum gibt - im Bad zwei große Spiegelschränke mit Regalen außen, einen sehr großen Wachbeckenunterschrank u. ein Ausziehwäscheständer an der Wand. Im Schlafzimmer neben einem Schrank eine große Kommode und zwei große Nachttische mit Schubladen. Und dann eben an der Couch und am TV auch noch Platz für Zeugs. Sonst weiß man in Ferienwohnungen ja oft nicht, wohin man soll mit allem, wenn man mehr als 2 Tage dort wohnt. Der Balkon ist riesig u. hat einiges an Balkonmöbeln, dafür war es allerdings jetzt im Juli zu heiß, ist aber sicher sehr schön bei etwas milderem Wetter. Der Gastgeber hat sich immer sehr schnell zurückgemeldet, wenn ich Fragen hatte, und war total nett und hilfsbereit, als ich z.B. Fragen zur Waschmaschine und zum Müll hatte. Es ist ein kleines Mehrparteienhaus, wo alles sehr nett und behaglich und sicher wirkte. Parken kann man die ganze Straße runter, da findet man immer was, und es sind knapp 10min zu laufen zum Bahnhof Ebringen, wo man in 7min mit dem Regionalexpress in Freiburg Hbf ist (allerdings meist nur 1x/Stunde, gibt aber auch einen Bus). Zudem ist fast neben dem Haus eine Frelo-Station mit günstigen Leihrädern, die man im gesamten Freiburger Stadtgebiet wieder abgeben kann. Ein großer Rewe ist ca. 15min zu Fuß zu erreichen (oder in 3min mit dem Auto).

Etwas mehr Küchenausstattung wäre praktisch gewesen, gerade weil es ja eine Spülmaschine gibt (evtl wäre da eine genauere Liste hier auf der Seite nützlich, damit man das vorher weiß u. evtl. was mitbringt). Es gab neben einigen Töpfen z.B. nur eine ältere Pfanne u. recht wenig Besteck, u. auch sonst nicht sooo viele Küchensachen, wenn man etwas länger dort wohnt. Mir persönlich waren die Matratzen im Schlafzimmer zu weich, aber das ist ja immer Geschmackssache. Nichts von beidem würde mich aber daran hindern, nochmal zu kommen, weil es insgesamt einfach superschön war und ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe.

The flat was easy to access, clean, and precisely as pictured. It's only a few minutes from the bus stop, a 20 minute walk to the grocery market, and an easy commute by car or public transit to Freiburg. There is beautiful wood paneling throughout, it is very spacious, full of natural light, and very private with beautiful views overlooking greenery. The bed with foam mattress was very comfortable, pillows were well filled, and the shower was plenty hot with excellent water pressure. There is even a dish washer in the kitchen, and the cabinets are well supplied. The host is, additionally, responsive and accommodating.

People with sound sensitivity should be aware that there is a somewhat noisy road that runs behind the property, despite the residential location. With the windows shut it is not too noticeable, but in warmer weather or when you want to sit out on the patio, it is something to consider.

We chose this accommodation again because we had such a wonderful experience during our previous stay. Unfortunately, this time it was quite disappointing. When we arrived, there was no proper hot water. After messaging the host, the hot water “magically” became available. We sincerely hope that the valve had not intentionally been left half-closed, as that would not be a very welcoming gesture toward guests. The apartment was also generally not very clean. Glasses and dishes were not properly washed. Guests are asked to run the dishwasher before leaving, but no dishwasher tablets are provided, meaning that dishes are often rinsed with water only. Another surprising detail was that there were only three forks in the entire apartment, which means you have to wash them after nearly every meal :) The location is excellent, and Ebringen is a lovely place for relaxation and hiking. However, the property needs more care and attention, and guests deserve to be treated with greater consideration and respect. Sadly, after this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
