A lovely, well equipped cottage in a brilliant location which was within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking wasn't a problem. The cottage is very impressive and well equipped. The outside space is also a bonus. The only slight issue we has was cleanliness. On the surface, everything seemed clean but it quickly became apparent that some areas hadn't had a deep clean in a while. For example, the drawers in the freezer were dirty and some of the kitchen equipment in the cupboards needed a clean. This was a real shame, as everything else was brilliant.

Very spacious character property in the heart of Alnwick. Great location for walking to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Good parking outside the property. 10-15 mins drive from all the wonderful Northumberland beaches.

Lovely characterful house with lots of space to relax. Very well equipped kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals. Shops and supermarket just a few minutes walk away. Lovely walks from the house and you can visit Alnwick Gardens, Castle and Barter Books by foot. Gorgeous beaches just a short drive away. We would definitely visit again.

Spacious well appointed property in very convenient location for Alnwick shops and restaurants. We found the property clean, and with a well equipped kitchen if you want to self-cater. The property is centrally heated, although we did find it a bit cold at times due to the windows being original and not double glazed. This did cause quite a bit of condensation particularly in the bedrooms. There is a log burner in the lounge which we used, and you can override the thermostat to keep the heating on. Good size bathroom with shower over bath and a separate shower room was very convenient. There are 3 bedrooms, the front is very spacious and a good size double at the back. A bunk bed is in the small front bedroom. There is a useful information pack in the lounge, and a nice touch was rechargeable torches for use in emergency, There is on street parking at the front of the property. We found it very quiet which we appreciated. There is high speed WiFi in the property. We would have liked a blind at the kitchen window and the back door for personal preference. Would stay here again.
