Very nice property! It was perfect for our group of 6 friends. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Pros: Older but very charming home. So much natural light and interesting details. Although pet friendly (as evidenced by some carpet stains), it felt very clean. It’s noticeably being updated a bit at a time as there is new furniture and linens in every room. Beds all very comfortable. We stayed during a nation wide heatwave and the bedrooms are upstairs but host had extra fans in every room that kept us cool enough. Brand new washer/dryer, special touches of coffee, bottled water, toiletries, etc. We also traveled with two dogs who loved the wide open spaces in the backyard. Host was very responsive and kind regarding our only issue (and it was a holiday weekend). We were visiting family so we didn’t use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. Yard was a bit tall when we arrived on a Thursday but was mowed the following day. Cons: The hot water heater was not working so we took several cold showers. The host worked diligently to resolve the problem so I’m certain it was an isolated incident. A few of the towels were thread bare, but we noticed there were plenty of newer ones in the closet so it was likely that housekeeping just made a poor choice when choosing the ones to hang out. We hope to stay again in the future and would recommend the property to others visiting Pickerington!

I was truly disappointed when we arrived. The house is much more weathered than the pictures. I would say the pictures are several years old. The picture of the creek shows full access to it and I booked this house mainly for the creek so the grandkids could play in it. Imagine my disappointment when there was years of growth at the creek and you couldn't even see it or get to it. The hiking trails have not been kept up for a while and our family likes to hike so that was another disappointment. The grass hasn't been mowed in weeks. The outside was just not taken care of and we are a family with 8 little grandkids and love to be outside. The property manage never acknowledged that the pictures were several years old as you don't get that kind of growth in one spring. Just that they had a flood and couldn't get to things. Again, I wouldn't have booked this place if I would have known you couldn't get to the creek. I wish I could post pictures to show the difference. Thankfully my son cut a path to the creek which I was so thankful b/c he knew how excited I was about the creek and worked to make it fun for the grands. They did love it and maybe others after us will enjoy it as well. All I ask is that the pictures be updated to show how things really are or just remove them and not mention the creek or the hiking trails. Just be honest.If you don't care about the outside then you will enjoy this place. The house is a little dated but was clean and had lots of room for our whole family. Close to many things to do.
