Kongress Hotel Davos

As a traveler from Sri Lanka, front desk officer Bruno was the best front officer I met on my Europe tour! He helped us a lot. I really loved this hotel because of its beautiful mountain views and the friendly front desk staff.

Good location, fair value

Carpet floors and a “queen” bed which basically was two small beds together

- The hotel is well located and central - The room was extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing - The bed was extremely comfortable

- The staff weren’t very friendly - I was not placed in the Deluxe Room with Mountain views that I booked and paid for, I was very tired after a long drive from Italy and as was my puppy (who had already bounded happily into the room). Therefore I mentioned it in the morning, only to be told, I should’ve said something the evening as the hotel was not fully booked they could’ve changed my room. As far as I was concerned the staff should’ve done their job correctly and allocated me the room I clearly booked and paid for! - I didn’t want any compensation, but the way I was spoken to by the staff member in the morning was out of line! - The other thing is if you arrive later than 6.00pm, don’t let them tell you you there is no parking near by in order to upsell you their own parking, the parking next door is closer than their own for a fraction of the price! You can stay overnight for free until 8.00am when it then is paid per hour for max of two hours.
