Ferreira seems to lack albergue of high quality, and this one just meets the expectations. It was fine. The family who runs the Albergue was friendly. The beer was the coldest on the Camino.

Compared to other private albergue of the same price range, it delivered lower quality experience. Lacked power plugs; everyone was sharing a few together; there was only 1 light switch for the entire room; When the lights went out, it was out; the shower facility needs general plumbing work, and didn’t drain properly; the shower water went all over the floor; curtains smell bad. Worst was the food. Again, generally of poor quality, especially breakfast. Salad was the best. The place has so much potential, with just a little upgrade, it could be good.
