It’s an amazing location, with it being a very short walk from the beautiful town but also remains peaceful. Adorable pub 2 doors down and a stunning log fire. Cute biscuits and supplies on arrival and everything you could need in the kitchen to prepare meals and enjoy the stay.

There is only enough seating in the living room for maximum 3 adults comfortably, meaning we had to take turns seating on a dining chair looking like a aught kid 😅 Although it’s advertised as dog friendly, and we paid extra, signs throughout saying the dogs are only allowed downstairs which isn’t really that dog friendly to us, so something to consider if your pooches struggle to be apart from you during the night in strange places. The parking space was also an endless source of entertainment to get into as we have a Range Rover and took an 87 point turn to squeeze into!

Excellent location, lots of useful items left was a nice touch (milk, tea and coffee, soft drinks).

The parking was very awkward. There didn’t seem to be a freezer.

Comfortable well located cottage. Owners were very thoughtful in making the cottage homely and providing welcome snacks for their guests.

We struggled to park locally - our car would not fit on the snug driveway. The stairs to the 2nd floor (double bedroom) were very low for us so we elected to use the 1st floor twin room.

Well presented and clean cottage, conveniently located and an easy walk into the village. Comfy beds. Nice touches left for guests on arrival with biscuits, milk, wine etc.

Parking on site is almost impossible unless you have a very small car, and the description on the website did not reflect how limited it was. The location pin provided on the website was not accurate (it was about 100m off) and it took a long time to find the cottage in the dark. Some of the pans in the kitchen were in poor condition with the non stick coatings flaking off.
