Verträumte Lage mit Meerblick, wer gut zu Fuß ist, ist da super aufgehoben. Die Treppen innerhalb von Scilla sollte jeder Reisende vorab klar haben. Super Strände. Sauber.

Bei meiner Ankunft bekam ich ein Zimmer. Es entspch nicht meiner Buchung "Zimmer mit Balkon". Ich habe reklamiert und ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Die gebuchte Ausstattung war auch dort nicht vorhanden: Bademantel, Kaffee oder Teezubereitung war nicht möglich, jedoch in der Buchung enthalten. Auch die Minibar war nicht vorhanden, der kleine Kühlschrank war an, aber leer. Auf ihm lagen 2 Kaffeekapseln, allerdings gab es dazu weder Maschine, noch Tasse, noch Wasserkocher. Die Rezeption war nicht einmal besetzt. Der Vermieter wollte telefonisch via WhatsApp ein Foto meiner Ausweisdokumente. Das habe ich aus Datenschutzgründen abgelehnt, es wurde etwas sperrig... Zugang zum Haus unkompliziert via elektronischem Türcode. Das Haus zu verlassen war jedoch tückisch, die Türklinke für die Außentür war abgebrochen. Auf meine Nachricht mit Foto diesbezüglich an den Vermieter, kam die Antwort das es in zwei Tagen repariert sei..., war leider später immer noch so. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig. Das sexuell täglich sehr aktive Paar von nebenan war komplett zu hören. Das gesamte Haus ist akustisch anstrengend. Fahrstuhl, Musik anderer Gäste sind zu hören. Sauberkeit oberflächlich in Ordnung. Bett löst sich von unten auf, Unterboden hängt zerrissen raus. Balkon ohne Tisch, 2 Stühle aus dem Zimmer lassen sich sehr eng raufstellen...

Sehr gute Lage im Hafenviertel, die meisten Restaurants in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Da wir mit Scootern unterwegs waren, war das Parken am Hafen kein Problem.

Im Eingangsbereich stehen zwar Tische und Stühle, die an einen Frühstücksraum erinnern, ein Frühstück gibt es dort aber nicht. Kein Personal vor Ort. Vielleicht nicht mehr im September.

We really enjoyed Scilla, the views from the room were exceptional. Close to the heart of Chianalea and it’s like going back in time ! There is a lovely restaurant up some stairs to the right of the hotel ( panoramic) highly recommended for the views. Bed was really comfy and the hotel as its own style and charm as it’s from older times but that adds to the character we enjoyed our stay here ! Thank you 😊

The property was a little difficult to find but coming up from the train station, you will see a little pharmacy and church and it’s the 34 Via Prof. Zagari N. 27, 89058, Scilla Italy, follow the steps down

The room had an amazing view of the sea, the balcony was our favourite place.

There was no one around to give instructions during check in. There was no response to repeated attempts to clarify few things about the room through messages on booking. WiFi was not available in our room. There's no staff around other than the cleaning staff. I'm not sure if this is a norm, but there was no water available, you had to put 1 euro into the machine each time to full up our water bottle.
