The flat was small, the sofa bed not usable as a bed, so we had to share the queen. The shower was not a stand up, so a bit uncomfortable to use, but overall the neighbors were excellent and able to help us out with questions. Thanks, Jade!

As an American traveling in Europe, it's important to know that you'll need to know how to work a boiler, and plan on having few outlets available. Ask the host for a picture of the boiler if you need help before you arrive. The shower knobs are backwards, so cold for hot water (and the water doesn't last long so go fast!). It's conveniently located and great if you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night. I would not recommend more than two people stay as it is quite small. Hopefully this helps you adequately prepare for a seamless arrival!

As others have noted, this is a very basic room best suited for one or two people who primarily want an affordable place to stay in Camden. It is about an 11-minute walk from the Underground, which makes it a reasonably convenient base for exploring London. The property itself is not really “vacation grade” in terms of comfort or atmosphere, but that is also not what you are paying for. Like many London properties, the room does not have air conditioning, so warmer weather could make the stay less comfortable. That said, Jade was a very helpful and responsive host, and her communication was clear throughout. Overall, this is a practical, no-frills option if location and value are your main priorities.

Studio is small but my two daughters and I fit fine. The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable but we were glad to have it. Location is the high point! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and Camden Market.
