It was off the beaten path, but close enough to Pine City for a night out. The river and the surrounding woods were wonderful. The size of the cabin was near perfect for our little family of 4. Lots of spices, cookware, and the gas grill featured for 2 of our 4 nights there. We loved the firepit. We enjoyed an afternoon kayaking, and the hammock was the real feature with everyone wanting a turn. This was a great place for camping without sacrificing creature comforts!
I would've loved it if they could have squeezed in a queen size bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen sink drained slow so made washing dishes a relatively slow process. I don't know how they could possibly do it, but a small dining table would've been a huge help to our family of coloring fanatics. Really these are all very small "wants". We loved our time there!
