The location from the airport to Muir Woods and Sausalito was excellent! It was a unique experience. We were right next to the seaplanes and helicopter so we watched them take off and land (during normal hours) - loved it so much we booked a seaplane tour the next day for the San Fran area! The place had a washer and dryer, full kitchen, wraparound deck with chairs and a table, perfect for evening wine, gorgeous sunrises every morning - we could watch right from bed! Hardly felt water movement. Lots of visits from several bird species in the water.
We didn't know El Nino was flooding the sidewalks so a heads up would have been helpful as we didn't know what to do or if we weren't going to be able to access the room. Our owner called back right away and instructed us what to do. We had a sense of humor and adventure so we waded thru in sandals and once there, there were heavy rubber boots to use when the tide was high and we would keep them in the car if we went out. When the tide was low, we had easy access from the sidewalk.

The houseboat was very comfortable on the interior. Everything worked very well. It wasn’t difficult to understand that you were on a houseboat and you have to be a little more careful.
I think one thing I would’ve definitely changed is there wasn’t really any seating when you wanted to just kick back for a little bit, I think the sofa could’ve been larger so you can at least sit there comfortably or lie back on the couch and read a book the nightstands could’ve been higher and large larger if you couldn’t do the sofa.

The location and the views were spectacular. Everything is brand new. Great responsive host.
While the tides are predictable and they provide rubber boots that can assist you in getting out of the house, they often create inconveniences that cannot be overlooked. However, I will book this place anytime because it is gorgeous!

The view was excellent.Very clean place.Good amenities.Needed more instruction manual.
There are a lot of instructions about parking and it is important for tides that change every day yet there is no clear signs as to which is green or yellow parking.The constant droning of the white noise in the restroom is an irritant.The shoes should be out of room was instructed.The shoes got very cold.There was no proper place to store it.More floor mats are necessary if the place has to be kept clean.
