Echo Koh Tao Hostel

Thank you so much to the prettiest receptionist and very friendly I really like the room the bathroom giving aesthetic❤️❤️ also at reception at bar always playing pool and the people are very amazing

BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND LOCATION WAS ONE OF THE BEST REASON TO CHOOSE ECHO KOH TAO HOSTEL. VIBE IS REALLY IMPRESSIVE. THERE'S A BLACK CUTE KITTY WHO IS VERY ACTIVE AND ADORABLE.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMING. ITS OBVIOUS THAT WHEN MOST OF THE PEOPLE ARE ARRIVING EARLY IN THE MORNING STILL CHEKC IN TIMING IS TOO LATE AND AGAN WE HAVE TO WAIT BECAUSE ROOM WAS NOT LEFT BY PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS AND FURTHER AFTER CLEANING PROCESS WE GOT THE ROOM SO THE SAME GOES FOR DORM ROOMS. WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR LONG TIME EVEN AFTER SCHEDULED CHECK IN TIMING WAS ALREADY OVER BUT THERE'S NO RELAXATION FOR CHECK OUT TIMING. AS WE WERE GIVEN LATE CHECK IN WE ASKED FOR LATE CHECK OUT STILL FOR I THINK FOR ONLY 1 HR THATS NOT FAIR. ITS THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE.

Big private room with balcony for a good price, very close to the pier & the beach and a nice bar/restaurant upstairs with good food & friendly staff :)

Good location

The room did not look as advertised, there was no duvet only a fluffy blanket on the bed. The room was scruffy and didn’t look or feel clean at all. At around 12pm every day our shower would gurgle and release the worst smell that would linger for around 2 hours. It was unbearable we couldn’t stay in the room during this time. We were also woken up by construction disturbances at 9:30am 2 mornings of our stay. We weren’t made aware that the hostel was under construction upon check in. The work was going on just across the hall from our room and rubble from the works fell in under our doorway and into our room. Was very dissapointed with this stay.
