The apartment is in a very nice location close to central Chamonix, with a nice view of the mountains. The sofa bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Easy to get to and the host was very responsive.
The street outside is very noise from very early in the morning (before 6) until very late at night (after midnight). The host mentioned that they are planning to change the windows to reduce the noise, but right now it is very loud, which is unfortunate.

The kitchen is brilliant. Clean and well equipped.
Centre of Chamonix. Very convenient.
A bit noisy at midnight because it is some pubs around.

A clean and new kitchen we can cook with ample storage in the refrigerator. Even we had some trouble to figure out how to use the oven. There is no manual in English. Everything is in French.
The drain stopper in the hand washing sink in bathroom broke. The washing machine does not work either. Both are not useable during our stay. Bathroom tissue we got was not quite enough. We used up every bit of tissue we had in the luggage.
