Hotel Alkyonis

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel in Greece! It is a peaceful, welcoming place with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel is situated on a hill, offering beautiful views of the sea. The lovely terrace is one of its greatest highlights — the perfect place to sit in the evening, relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The location is also excellent. Just a few steps from the hotel, across a quiet street and down a short path, you reach the beach. The hotel has its own beach area with sunbeds for just €7, including a drink or a snack. The beach is clean, and the sea is absolutely wonderful, with crystal-clear water. We wore water shoes because we were worried about sea urchins, although the water was so clear that you could easily see the seabed. Getting to the town center was easy, too. A little tourist tram stops right next to the hotel and costs just €4, or you can enjoy a pleasant walk of around 15–20 minutes. The center has a lively atmosphere, with plenty of lovely cafés and tavernas. Our room was always spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and bed linen every other day. Breakfast was perhaps a little repetitive, but everything was tasty and satisfying, giving us a great start to the day. A special mention goes to Nina, who took such good care of our room. Overall, this hotel is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, beautiful sea views, a lovely beach and genuine Greek hospitality. We are very grateful to the owners and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable.
