A nice spacious room with a spacious ensuite, very clean, light and airy, nice to have a coffee machine in the room.
It is quite basic but if you want a no frills room for a night it's perfect, right in the centre of John O'Groats too, literally a short walk from the post!!!
No staff, no hotel amenities, no restaurant or bar and no lift to the upper floors.

Very close to John o groats
Could be a bit cheaper as very expensive for 1 night stay

Location near Gill's Bay ferry port was excellent.
We arrived on Sunday evening and pretty much everything was closed. But that is on us.

Friendly service.
cleanliness of the room.
Good size room and bathroom.
The mirror in the room was higher than the top of my head and unusable for me.
No instructions on how to use the coffee machine - no I don't have one at home and have never used one.
