The dorm rooms are very spacious and have comfy beds. I was able to get a great nights sleep. This place is family run and everyone was welcoming, kind and very helpful.

Nothing made me dissatisfied

I initially booked a Superior Double Room, requested a quiet room with strong WiFi so that I could work from my laptop, was placed in the King Room without balcony, and hit the jackpot worth extending my stay. This is a classic colonial building, like found all over Latin America, with the vaulted ceilings, tall wooden doors and shutters, and the King room had a fresh make over like pictured for other rooms. AC was sufficient, hot water with good pressure, WiFi was strong enough to work thru a VPN and noise was never an issue despite the potential party atmosphere name of the facility implies. I was well taken care of, always appreciate the free water refills for guests in private rooms, and enjoyed the tour for Bamboo Railroad and Bat Cave. Central Location is prime with Heart Coffee just across for early mornings, eateries and two large markets just beyond, and a pristine promenade along the Sangkae River for daily exercising with the locals. Thanks to all for making me feel so at home; I will definitely be returning sooner than later!

Yes, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, bathroom cramped, and probably better suited for a single male but flexible do-it-yourselfers will recognize what a gem this place is.

Great hotel, staff is really nice, really good location. The owner has been really helpful to organize activities :)

The place itself is nice, with a rooftop with good food and drinks and the room is nicely decorated. Also the wifi works well.

The bed is hard as wood. They gave us no bed sheets (to be fair we didn't ask). The outlets near the bed don't work. The air conditioning doesn't work.
