We loved our stay at Lotus Villa. This small, relaxed hotel is in a fabulous location, with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious especially the Khao Soi and I'm still dreaming about the fresh pineapple juice! Watching the morning alms giving from the balcony each day was a truly special experience. We'd happily stay here again.
Like much of South East Asia, there is currently construction happening nearby, so the rooms can be a little noisy during the day if you're hoping to relax. This is completely outside the hotel's control, and thankfully it was very quiet in the evenings and overnight, so we slept really well. The rooms were also a little dark and could benefit from some additional lighting, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Location was good with balcony view of alms giving. Lovely quiet courtyard for breakfast. Breakfast was good and had enough choice. Room balconies were nice. Friendly staff.
Sticky doors, no fan on balcony (but that’s a nice to have not essential!).

The hotel was in a very pretty location, on the peninsula in between the Mekong and Its tributary close to many good restaurants, cafes and bars (including the very popular pizza place just opposite). The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and kind. The room was lovely and comfortable with its own little balcony looking over the garden - very peaceful. Breakfast was varied and delicious. My favourite accommodation during my time in Laos.
